eXtreme EEG
Welcome to eXtreme EEG
What does the brain do when accelerated at 3G in a centrifuge? What does a racing driver's EEG look like? Can EEGs give us answers to questions like this or is it impossible to record an EEG under such conditions?
As you know we are always eager to push the boundaries further and within the past year some of our customers helped us to find out under what exceptional and unusual conditions for the subject and the hardware EEG studies do remain feasible.
Each experiment was performed using the Brain Products eXtreme EEG pack that consists of:
- a mobile 16-channel research amplifier (V-Amp)
- a 16-channel active electrode system including a softcap (actiCAP)
- a portable mini-computer running the actiCAP ControlSoftware, BrainVision Analyzer 2, BrainVision Recorder, BrainVision Video Recorder
Currently our eXtreme EEG initiative is put on hold.
To all of those who have already taken part in one of our eXtreme EEG projects or conducted their own experiment(s), we'd like to express our heartfelt thanks. For detailed information on the results of these eXtreme EEG projects, please visit our still growing eXtreme EEG Database.
