We are offering a position as Sales and Support Manager

Your duties will include:
- Finding the best solution for our customers!
- Managing the Brain Vision Sales and support activity and be a part of the sales and support team
- Working together with Brain Products to provide comprehensive technical and scientific support
- Attending and exhibiting at conferences (e.g. SPR, HBM, CNS, HCI)
- Frequently traveling to our customer sites throughout the US and Canada for product demonstrations, installation, workshops and customer training (total travel time 25%)
Applicant requirements are:
- Academic degree (PhD preferred) in a relevant field of neurosciences, psychology, physics, biophysics, biomedical technology or a related field
- Experience in complex neurophysiological analyses - ideally you are a user of our hard-and software solutions
- High level of analytical skills including quick comprehension and satisfaction in finding solutions
- Possess excellent communication skills; specifically you should enjoy frequent interaction with our customers
- Ability to effectively communicate complex scientific topics to varied audiences

January 2010: Change of internal duties: Pierluigi Castellone becomes General Manager

Having been a valuable member of Brain Products for more than 5 years, Pierluigi Castellone finally became part of our management team on January 1st, 2010. After having worked in Sales & Support, at BrainVision LLC in the USA and as Brain Products' International Sales Manager within the past years, he will now join our established General Managers, Dr. Achim Hornecker and Alexander Svojanovsky, being mainly in charge of the departments sales, logistics and marketing.
January 2010: New Team Member: Dr. Roland Csuhaj, Sales & Support

We are happy to welcome Dr. Roland Csuhaj to our team! Roland is a psychologist (MA in 2005) and an experienced user of our hard- and software. He previously worked in the Research Group of Developmental Psychology (Hungarian Academy of Sciences / Institute for Psychology) from 2005 to 2008 before earning his Ph.D. degree in cognitive psychology in late 2009. During a one year occupation at Westphalian Wilhelms-University of Muenster (Institute for Biomagnetism and Biosignalanalysis) he also gathered experience in the application field of MEG. Roland is now joining our Sales & Support Team. Welcome to Brain Products, Roland!
December 2009: Change of internal duties: Patrick Britz joins Brain Vision LLC

Starting this summer, Patrick Britz has taken over responsibility for the day-to-day business operations of our American distributor, Brain Vision LLC. Thus he is succeeding Dr. Ingmar Gutberlet, the name many of you have come to associate with Brain Vision LLC in recent years. Ingmar has not left us, but will now be focusing on his tasks as the Customer and Scientific Support Manager for Brain Products.
October 2009: New team member: Norbert Hauser, Software Development

Our Software Development Team is growing further! Starting in October, Norbert Hauser will support our Recorder Software Development Manager, Dinh-Phuong Nguyen, in advancing our software and drivers. Having developed interfaces and hardware controllers in the field of neurological diagnostics for about 20 years now, Norbert is an extremely experienced software programmer and we are very happy to welcome him to our team!
October 2009: New team member: Christiane Strasser, Office Management

Christiane Strasser used to work as an administrative assistant in the pharmaceutical industry within the past four years. From now on she will support Monika Heiß in order processing and office management and thus replace Juliane Riedel.
Juliane left the company to pursue a career in the Marketing field. Good luck for your new challenge, Juliane and Welcome on board, Christiane!
October 2009: New team member: Benjamin Spinnler, Logistics Department

We are happy to welcome Benjamin Spinnler to our Team! Having worked in the shipping and logistics department of an aerospace company in previous years Benjamin will now support our Logistics Manager, Helmut Lutz. Benjamin is replacing Andreas Schmidt whom we wish good luck for his personal and professional future.
September 2009: New team member: Ingo Westermayer, IT Specialist Trainee

Having just finished school Ingo Westermayer decided to become an IT Specialist and applied at Brain Products’ IT Department. Being an IT enthusiast for a long time, we are very confident that he will be a great aid supporting our IT Manager, Illya Yaroshenko, and will succeed in his apprenticeship. Welcome to our team, Ingo!
May 2009: New team member: Dr. Michael Jachan, Software Development

Dr. Michael Jachan received both PhD and MSc degrees in telecommunications / signal processing from Vienna University of Technology (June 2006 / June 2001). Having worked as a research and teaching assistant at the Institute of Telecommunications and Radio-Frequency Engineering (Vienna University of Technology) and at the Freiburg Center for Data Analysis and Modeling thereafter, he now supports our Software Development Team in Freiburg. His main duties are algorithm implementation and graphics design.
January 2009: New team member: Dipl. Phys. Elisabeth Glass, Support Team

Lisa (Elisabeth) Glass strengthens our well-established support team and starts her career with Brain Products in January 2009 as Scientific Support Coordinator. Lisa is an experienced Brain Products user, formerly working as head of the Neurophysiology Lab at the Developmental Research Department of the LMU Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in Munich.
December 2008: New team member: Johann Strasser, R&D Department

Our manufacturing department needed to be strengthened. Johann Strasser joined the company recently for this purpose as Production Manager. His aim is to shorten delivery times and to ensure product quality. Technical testing as well as implementing new manufacturing procedures will be his major tasks.
October 2008: New team member: Andreas Schmidt, Logistics Department

The increasing workload of our shipping and testing procedures demands the expansion of our staff. Starting from October 27th 2008, Andreas Schmidt strengthens our logistics department.
October 2008: New team member: Gregor Entzian, Software Development

After graduating high school in June 2008, Gregor Entzian started working as a trainee software engineer at Brain Products GmbH in Freiburg. He attends a co-op program at the University of Horb and alternates between his university and the company. Gregor develops transforms for BrainVision Analyzer 2 as part of his practical training.
October 2008: Change of internal duties: Monika Heiss becomes Office Manager

Since the departure of Ingrid Jacob, Monika Heiss is now responsible for Office Management and Accounting in Brain Products. Monika Heiss, our new Office Manager, has been working hand-in-hand with the former Office Manager for a couple of years.
October 2008: Team member leaves Brain Products: Ingrid Jakob, Office Management & Human Resources

Ingrid Jacob left Brain Products after a fruitful cooperation for more than 7 years. We thank her sincerely for the long relationship with our company and wish her great success for her future business.
July 2008: New Team Member: Juliane Riedel, Office Management

In preparation for the upcoming changes in our team structure, Juliane Riedel has taken over responsibilities from Monika Heiss. We welcome Juliane Riedel who is in charge of order processing and office management.
June 2008: New Team Member: Dipl. Psych. Patrick Britz, International Sales & Support

Starting from June 2008, Dipl. Psych. Patrick Britz starts working at our sales and support team. Patrick is an experienced user of our products understanding scientific needs and requirements, formerly working at the University of Trier, Department of Psychophysiology.
April 2008: New Team Member: Dipl. Psych. Davide Riccobon, Product & Risk Management

Starting from April 2008, Dipl. Psych. Davide Riccobon is responsible for the co-ordination of Product Development as well as risk and quality management in accordance with applied harmonized standards. Davide Riccobon is an experienced Brain Products user, formerly working at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich, Department of Psychology
April 2008: Change of internal duties: Bernd Picht becomes head of R&D

Quickly after starting his job at Brain Products, Bernd Picht demonstrated special technical skills (e.g. continously refining the actiCAP). A new department has now been created to speed up prototype manufacturing internally. Bernd Picht is the head of our new R&D department, controlling technical and administrative processes in accordance with applied harmonized standards.
March 2008: Change of internal duties: Monika Heiss becomes Office Manager

Since March 1st 2008, Monika Heiss is responsible for internal bookkeeping and accounting. Existing duties remain unchanged.
February 2008: Change of internal duties: Phuong Nguyen becomes Recorder Software Development Manager

Starting from beginning of 2008, Phuong Nguyen is responsible for the development of our Recorder software. After programming modules and drivers for several years, he is now responsible for the entire project.
January 2008: Change of internal duties: Ingrid Jakob takes over Human Resources Department

Ingrid Jakob is in charge of the Human Resources Department since beginning of 2008. Existing duties remain unchanged.
November 2007: Team Member leaves Brain Products: Alexander Anke, Product and Risk Manager

Alexander Anke, our former Product Manager, left our team on October 31st 2007. Among other things, he was responsible for controlling and supervising the product development of our new and innovative electrode caps. All the best for his future from the Brain Products Team.
November 2007: New Team Member at Brain Products: Maria Schatt, Software Developer (Medical)

Starting from November 1st, Maria Schatt develops software in the field of BCI and Neurofeedback (transformations, surfaces, documentation, tests). Being a mathematician, new comprehensive algorithms for online data analysis will be evaluated and integrated by her into our realtime analysis software RecView
October 2007: Bernd Picht as new Products & Risk Manager

We welcome Bernd Picht to our team. He has replaced the former product manager taking over the coordination of product development (hard- and software) on October 22nd 2007. He is responsible for risk and quality management in accordance with applied harmonized standards. Moreover, he controls technical purchasing, product analysis and product maintenance. Being a specialist for molding procedures and technical materials he already has integrated new ideas into our assembly and manufacturing processes.
July 2007: New Team Member at Brain Products: Katja Wust, Technical Writer

Katja Wust started her activity in our Freiburg branch on July 16th. As a technical editor for hardware and software documentation and as our IT quality assurance coordinator, she also acts as an interface not only between software development and quality management, but also between our hardware development in Gilching and our software development in Freiburg by creating our product manuals and by releasing our documentation.
July 2007: Change of internal duties: Anja Egger becomes Marketing Manager

We’d like to introduce Anja Egger as the new Marketing Manager of Brain Products. She has held this position since July 1st, although she has been an active member of the marketing department under Alex Svojanovsky for the last 5 years as part of her course of study. After finishing her Abitur in 1999, she went on to complete a 2 year “learning-on -the-job” course of study at the Bavarian Academy for Advertisement and Marketing. This course involved her working in various marketing departments throughout the day, including the renowned Condé Nast Publishing House, and continuing her studies in the evenings. On graduation in 2002, she decided to undertake a further course of study in Sociology, Psychology and Communications at Munich’s Ludwig-Maximilians-University, during which her collaboration with Brain Products began. She is now very happy to have been given the opportunity to support the company in all its marketing activities full time and looks forward to being at your disposal in our marketing department.
June 2007: New Team Member at Brain Products: Helmut Lutz, Technical Procurement, Stock and Shipping Department

Our Team is growing further. On June 1st, 2007 we welcomed Helmut Lutz to our Gilching office! His responsibilities include incoming goods and goods issuing inspections, system assembly, software installation and functional testing as well as the configuration and dispatch of our electromedical devices and accessories. His job also comprises purchasing of externally supplied parts, as well as stock monitoring, and stock management in our inventory control system.
April 2007: New Team Member at Brain Products: Illya Yaroshenko, IT Assistant, PC and Network Administrator

Illya Yaroshenko has been with the Gilching team since April 30th, 2007. He is responsible for the setup, administration and maintenance of our entire network, as well as of the Windows server and workstations. In addition, he is in charge of the maintenance and development of our existing IT infrastructure. His third main duty is the conception and implementation of new web and intranet projects.
April 2007: New Team Member at Brain Products: Stefanie Rudrich, Marketing Assistance

Stefanie Rudrich has been with us in Gilching since April 1st, 2007. She supports our marketing manager Anja Egger with marketing projects and also works on independent small projects. Her main area of responsibility is the organization of exhibitions and congresses. In addition, she organizes the BrainVision user workshops and assists the participants in the run up to the workshop.
February 2007: Brain Products Team Member on Maternity Leave: Naoko Ono, Marketing Assistance & Executive Assistance

Naoko Ono from Brain Products Gilching has been on maternity leave since February 1st, 2007. Her duties have been taken over by Anja Egger (Marketing) and Ingrid Jakob (Personnel and Executive Assistant).
