Your duties will include:
- Contributing to the development and implementation of communication concepts and advertising campaigns within the framework of defined marketing strategies
- Contributing to the provision of relevant marketing materials for ongoing business and the introduction of new products in close collaboration with our advertising agency
- Contributing to the implementation of advertising activities, such as mailshots, to accompany the marketing strategy
- Management of the interface to the product development department; copy editing of technical information and the drafting of copy for marketing materials (e.g. brochures, customer newsletters)
- Management of the interface to the Sales team; rapid communication of topics relevant to marketing and implementation of associated measures
- Planning and execution of the involvement of the company at national congresses (booth exhibitions and sponsoring activities)
Applicant requirements are:
- Experience in a marketing-related post, preferably in the field of medical technology
- Thorough knowledge of planning and implementing marketing activities
- Very good knowledge of written and spoken English, preferably professional experience in an English-speaking country or a native English speaker
- Thorough practical knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Preferably a basic knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop
- Preferably a basic understanding of technical issues
- You have a talent for organization and the ability to manage a wide range of different projects with different priorities and to react rapidly
- The way in which you work will be characterized by commitment, solution-oriented thinking and creativity
The post is full-time (40 hours) and will be a fixed-term contract for 25 months to cover maternity leave. The possibility of the contract being extended beyond the maternity leave is open. Start date: Autumn 2010.

Your duties will include:
- Finding the best solution for our customers!
- Managing the Brain Vision Sales and support activity and be a part of the sales and support team
- Working together with Brain Products to provide comprehensive technical and scientific support
- Attending and exhibiting at conferences (e.g. SPR, HBM, CNS, HCI)
- Frequently traveling to our customer sites throughout the US and Canada for product demonstrations, installation, workshops and customer training (total travel time 25%)
Applicant requirements are:
- Academic degree (PhD preferred) in a relevant field of neurosciences, psychology, physics, biophysics, biomedical technology or a related field
- Experience in complex neurophysiological analyses - ideally you are a user of our hard-and software solutions
- High level of analytical skills including quick comprehension and satisfaction in finding solutions
- Possess excellent communication skills; specifically you should enjoy frequent interaction with our customers
- Ability to effectively communicate complex scientific topics to varied audiences
- Confidence in your capacity to take initiative and work independently
- Outstanding written and spoken English – proficiency in an additional language will be seen as a plus
