NeuroIS Retreat 2024

The NeuroIS Retreat will take place June 9 – 11, 2024 at Schlosshotel Wilhelminenberg in Vienna, Austria. A pre-event will take place on June 9. However, the main retreat starts with dinner on June 9. June 10-11 are the main retreat days with the presentations.

Brain Products is happy to again attend the NeuroIS Retreat in 2024. This annual academic conference promotes the development of the NeuroIS field. NeuroIS is a field in Information Systems (IS).  It combines neuroscience and neurophysiological tools and knowledge to better understand the development, adoption, and impact of information and communication technologies (www.neurois.org). In particular, at the NeuroIS Retreat, research and development projects at the nexus of information systems (IS) and neurobiology will be presented.

In addition, we are excited to offer a pre-conference workshop at NeuroIS this year. Our Technical Product Manager and resident brain-computer interface expert, Alex Kreilinger, will head this workshop. In it, he will demonstrate how easy it is to integrate EEG measurements in your NeuroIS experiments using the new X.on EEG headset. Further, participants will have the chance to record EEG in various scenarios. These scenarios will cover resting EEG and standard behavioural tasks on up to hyperscanning setups. Afterward, participants will be able to analyze their recorded data in different software solutions.
