Foundations of EEG 2026 – Registration is now open!

Registration for the 2026 edition of the Brain Products Academy Workshop Foundations of EEG: Theory, Hardware and Application Principles is now open. The three‑day online workshop will take place February 24–26, 2026. It will bring together participants from around the world for a comprehensive, practice-oriented introduction to EEG.

Now in its fifth year, this workshop has become a go‑to learning experience for students, early‑career researchers, and professionals seeking a solid foundation in EEG.  The Brain Products Academy offers a structured learning journey to meet participants exactly where they are. As a result, attendees quickly move from understanding the nature of the EEG signal to mastering the steps needed to set up and optimize EEG experiments.

A three‑day learning experience designed for real‑world EEG studies

This workshop offers one day of free content and two days of exclusive sessions. Moreover, the program blends theory, hands‑on demonstrations, and direct interaction with Brain Products experts:

  • Day 1 – Building Blocks: Introduction to EEG signals, measurement principles, and core technologies to measure and analyze EEG signals
  • Day 2 – Experiments in Practice: Practical procedures, step‑by‑step demonstrations covering experiment setup, preprocessing of EEG data, and pilot testing your EEG setup and analysis
  • Day 3 – Optimization: Integration of concepts & strategies for improving data quality, optimizing filters, using event markers and triggers effectively, as well as preventing and managing artifacts

In addition, the workshop includes live panel discussions, exclusive 1‑to‑1 expert sessions, and access to comprehensive handouts and materials for continued learning after the event.
