With over 25 years of experience in electrophysiology, Brain Products GmbH is a global leader in the development of software and hardware solutions for neurophysiological research. As an internationally operating company, we distribute our products in more than 60 countries, both directly and through a global network of distributors.

YOUR TASKS

• Provide support to our global scientific users and distributors, ensuring the effective utilization of our neurophysiological hardware and signal acquisition software.
• Offer consultation and troubleshooting services primarily through remote channels such as an email ticketing system, video calls, or in-house pilot testing. Occasional on-site visits to customer locations may also be required.
• Analyze sample data and employ creative problem-solving techniques to identify opportunities for optimizing customer setups.
• Coordinate and oversee the initiation and management of repair processes.
• Develop training materials for workshops and compose articles for press releases.
• Participate in and present at workshops, webinars, and international scientific conferences.
• Serve as a liaison between customers/distributors and product management/development teams to facilitate the enhancement of existing products and the development of new ones.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Research or laboratory experience in a relevant field such as neuroscience, psychology, (bio)physics, biomedical technology, or a related discipline. A Ph.D. is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Practical experience in the acquisition and analysis of bio signals, with a solid understanding of their key characteristics, particularly concerning EEG. Experience with fMRI is beneficial.
• Knowledge of the technical specifications and operational aspects of hardware and software used for bio signal acquisition.
• Exceptional ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences, ranging from novices to experts.
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written. Proficiency in German is desirable.
• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Willingness to work on-site for most of the time and to travel internationally on occasion.
