The A-Z of EEG Analysis with BrainVision Analyzer

This three-day Analyzer workshop will include practical data processing covering all major EEG analysis methods in Analyzer from pre-processing and ERP analysis through to spectral analysis and connectivity.

This workshop is ideal for researchers who are already familiar with the basics of the EEG signal and data acquisition, and want to delve into EEG data analysis and the Analyzer software. The workshop can also serve to expand your knowledge to further EEG analysis methods. Our unique modular offering, allows you to build the right workshop for your learning journey.

EEG 101: hands-on EEG acquisition and data analysis

In this workshop we offer you the opportunity to learn how to acquire EEG data and how to do an ERP analysis using BrainVision Analyzer.

Day 1: We will cover the nature of the EEG signal, basic data analysis concepts, and how to acquire an EEG signal, including hands-on practical measurements in small groups.
Day 2: We will introduce you to the BrainVision Analyzer software and general principles of analyzing EEG data for event related potentials (ERPs). The sessions include hands-on practice with demo data. We also take a practical look at technical and physiological artifacts and how to minimize or prevent them.

This workshop is ideal for anyone new to EEG acquisition, EEG data processing, and the Analyzer software.

Due the past popularity of this workshop, we’ll be holding it twice: once in Munich, Germany and again in Brisbane, Australia.
