Brain Products will be joined by MES Forschungssysteme at Psychologie und Gehirn 2024 (Psychology and Brain 2024) in Hamburg, Germany on May 29 – June 1, 2024. Once again this year Brain Products is sponsoring the Brain Products Young Scientist Award at the conference.

Pre-conference workshop: Introduction to EEG data acquisition and ERP analysis – May 28-29, 2024

Prior to the conference, the Brain Products Academy will host a workshop in cooperation with MES Forschungssysteme GmbH: Introduction to EEG data acquisition and ERP analysis on May 28-29. To mark the 100 year anniversary of the first EEG measurement by Hans Berger, we want to support the future of EEG by running this workshop specifically for young researchers.

The Introduction to EEG data acquisition and ERP analysis workshop will offer attendees the opportunity to learn how to acquire EEG data and how to do an ERP analysis using BrainVision Analyzer 2. On the first day we will cover the nature of the EEG signal and how to acquire an EEG signal, including hands-on practical measurements in small groups. On the second day we will introduce you to the BrainVision Analyzer 2 software and general principles of getting started with analysing EEG data for event related potentials (ERPs). The sessions include hands-on practice with demo data.
