How to apply
The recruitment process for our open positions will vary depending on the department. However, most applicants will go through a similar process. This includes a discovery call and a video or on-site interview. Depending on the role, you may also take part in an assessment round.
Search our open positions for a role that matches your skill set. Then, submit your application to us. Your application should include a cover letter, short resume or CV, your desired salary expectation and earliest starting date. Address your application to Brain Products GmbH and the person mentioned in the job description.
We may invite you directly for an interview, but we often first do a discovery call. This call will give you the opportunity to speak with a member of the team to which you are applying – either by phone or video call. In addition, you can ask any questions you might have. We’ll discuss your experience and your motivation for working at Brain Products. If it’s a match, we’ll keep you posted about next steps, as they can differ depending on the role.
If the role you’ve applied for requires specific technical skills, then we may invite you to an assessment round. There, you’ll have the opportunity to take part in mock scenarios that reflect potential real-life situations.
If you did well in the previous steps, you’ll be invited for an in-person interview. This is an opportunity for you to introduce yourself in person. In addition, you’ll meet the team and get to understand our company culture. This will be a competency-based interview; we’ll ask you questions about real life scenarios you have dealt with. The on-site interview will take about two hours. You may need to travel to our HQ in Gilching, Germany. Alternatively, we may arrange a video interview.
We’ll get back in touch as soon as we can once you’ve completed the final stage of the process. We’ll send you an offer (hopefully!) or some feedback about our decision.
